Paolo Zuñiga is a filmmaker and photographer living in San Diego, California. His works are informed by the narrativizing of individual experience as a means of exploring the fluidity of identity, memory, and place. His films have screened at various film festivals and exhibitions, including TamecineFest (Colombia), Mingei International Museum, UCLA New Wight Gallery, Cine Tonalá Tijuana (Mexico), Echo Park Film Center, Working Title Film Festival (Italy), and San Diego Underground Film Festival, among others. As a musician, his collaborative projects have resulted in a series of self-produced albums that exist within the sonic worlds of alt-rock, Mexican folk ballads, and ambient instrumentals.

Paolo completed his undergraduate studies in Anthropology from San Diego State University and graduate studies in Visual Arts from UC San Diego.
