Paolo Zuñiga is an artist and filmmaker whose work navigates between fiction storytelling, ethnographic practice, and documentary form; concerning itself with the narrativizing of individual experience and the sociocultural conditions that inform home, place, and identity.

He earned a BA in anthropology from San Diego State University and an MFA in visual arts from UC San Diego.

His films have been exhibited in festivals and galleries such as UCLA New Wight Gallery, The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, Echo Park Film Center, San Diego Latino Film Festival, Portland Underground Film Festival, Working Title Film Festival (Italy), San Diego Underground Film Festival, and Cine Tonalá Tijuana
