
Paolo Zuñiga is a filmmaker and photographer based in San Diego, CA.
His practice navigates between fiction and non-fiction, drawing on personal stories to explore identity, memory, and landscape. Through these narratives, he examines the shifting nature of experience and place.
He received a BA in Anthropology from San Diego State University and an MFA in Visual Arts from UC San Diego. His work has been screened at festivals and galleries such as TamecineFest (Colombia), Cine Tonalá Tijuana (Mexico), Mingei International Museum, UCLA New Wight Gallery, Echo Park Film Center, Working Title Film Festival (Italy), and the San Diego Underground Film Festival, among others.
In addition to his own work, Paolo frequently collaborates as an editor and sound designer on artist-driven projects.
